Because we’re human first—and we see you as one.
We put people before symptoms.
We’re a team of relational therapists who support individuals, couples, and families through life’s complexities—anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and major transitions.
At Inner Voice Counseling Center, we hold close what Charlie often says: "healing starts when silence breaks"—when you feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported.
Our style is warm and collaborative. We integrate CBT, DBT, SFBT, Narrative Therapy, and other evidence-based approaches—never one-size-fits-all, but always shaped around you and your story. We genuinely value working with clients from all walks of life.
We bring specialized experience in anxiety, trauma, identity concerns, sexuality, LGBTQIA+ care, and connection issues. For couples, we help strengthen communication, rebuild trust, navigate conflict, deepen intimacy, and repair after ruptures. We’re passionate about creating a space where healing, growth, and meaningful change can happen safely.
At Inner Voice, we walk alongside you as you reconnect with your inner voice and move toward the life and relationships that truly feel right for you.
If you want to see whether we’re a good fit, start with a brief 15-minute call—no pressure, just a conversation.

Individual therapy is a steady place to sort what’s loud, name what matters, and make changes that stick. We start by listening to the whole story, then set one or two small goals and we get to work. Most people meet weekly or biweekly.
Common focus areas: anxiety and stress, trauma and grief, identity and sexuality, boundaries, people-pleasing, self-criticism, burnout, family dynamics, and relationship/connection patterns with friends, family, and co-workers. These are just examples—your therapy is fully tailored to you, because every person is unique.
What sessions look like: Usually sessions are 45–60 minutes by secure video (English, Spanish, or Spanglish). We’ll mix reflection with practical tools—communication scripts, grounding skills, boundary language, repair steps—so you leave with one clear next step. We use CBT, DBT, SFBT, Relational, and Narrative Therapy, and we adjust the plan as your life changes.
How progress shows up: calmer days, fewer spirals, clearer boundaries, easier conversations, more clarity, and more room for what you care about. You set the pace; we’ll walk it with you.

Yes—this is core work for us.
If you’re stuck in the same fight or intimacy feels out of reach, we help you communicate so it actually lands, rebuild trust after infidelity, de-escalate conflict, and reconnect. We also support premarital couples, co-parents, and partners navigating cultural or language differences.
We also address desire differences, performance anxiety, and low-desire periods (“dry spells”).
We’ll help you rebuild closeness after conflict or trauma.
Our couples work is inclusive of all orientations and relationship structures—seriously. We have specialized training and a deep passion for sex and couples therapy. We also provide LGBTQIA+ therapy (including for trans and non-binary couples) and support for non-traditional relationships, including throuples and polyamorous dynamics.
We’ll help you clarify agreements and boundaries, build communication that reduces defensiveness and jealousy, and strengthen intimacy—without judgment.
If you’re ready to move from stuck to connected, let’s talk.

Yes—absolutely. We offer LGBTQIA+-affirming therapy for individuals and couples in the queer community. Whether you’re gay, lesbian, bi, trans, queer, or non-binary—coming out, exploring gender or identity, healing from family rejection or estrangement, moving through anxiety or depression, facing workplace stress or discrimination, or unsure how to ask for the intimacy you want—we’ll meet you with care, clarity, and real talk.
Our space is warm, inclusive, and validating—for every letter of LGBTQIA+ 🏳️🌈. Seriously, every letter. We understand minority stress and the ways culture, family, faith, and language shape your story. We work at your pace, in English or Spanish, and we welcome all relationship structures (monogamous, CNM/poly, throuples).
What you can expect: to feel seen and respected; to build skills for communication and boundaries; to strengthen self-worth and resilience; and—if you’re in a relationship—to repair after ruptures and grow closeness.
